Saguaros, On Guard
Another from my last batch of black and white experimentation. Photographed on Ilford FP4. Like in the last post, the development is a little patchy. I’ll need to mix my chemicals a bit better. And a thanks to Michael Gordon for the tip on trying to get the temperature of my chemicals down (check his site out, he has some new images). I followed the directions for processing at 73 degrees since that’s as cold as I could get my water. Need more ice packs!
You are reading a blog posting from the photographer Laurent Baig. Feel the wilderness experience.
Look at all those blooms on the saguaros – I would love to see that sometime. Very nice.
I had never thought about the challenge of having to cool your water.

Thanks, Ron! It can be quite a sight. Speaking of which, I better go take more photographs!
