Laurent Baig – The Wild Light

Guy Tal

Filed under: Photography — Laurent @ 7:09 pm

I met Guy Tal a couple of years ago when he and Michael Gordon taught an outdoor large format workshop in Lone Pine, CA. I’ve met up with him a couple of times now, and let me say, he’s as nice a guy as they come.  For such a good artist, he has no pretentions and is  very pleasant to be around.

I recently purchased this print from Guy, in fact, it was just a couple of weeks ago, and I received it a couple days ago.  It is amazing.  I don’t have a lot of experience with prints, only those that I’ve managed to acquire through print exchanges, and my own of course.  This print, however, is probably the finest print I’ve held in my hand.  The light just dances off the paper.  I highly recommend that if you collect prints, collect this one.

You are reading a blog posting from the photographer Laurent Baig. Feel the wilderness experience.
