Why would anyone camp here? One reason, and one reason only…Aravaipa Canyon. This is the only car campsite on Aravaipa Road and on a hot Thursday afternoon, myself and four friends took advantage of it. We got there mid-afternoon and temps were peaking a little above 90 degrees, so we hid under the convenient shade of the ranger station right across the road. Stay tuned for more from Aravaipa.

Hey Ron, thanks for the comment. The only thing not cool is that it’s practically right on the road. Fortunately, Aravaipa road doesn’t see a lot of traffic 🙂
