On my way up to the south rim of the Grand Canyon last Thursday, I realized I wouldn’t be able to make it up in time for sunset.  So, I stopped in Sedona.  I’m glad I did.

You are reading a blog posting from the photographer Laurent Baig. Feel the wilderness experience.

  1. Sedona is definitely on my short list of favourite places in Arizona. I love the crispness of the shadows in this shot. Absolutely beautiful.

  2. The contrast between dark and cloudy sky and the rocks gives a nice tension to the image.

  3. Nice, Laurent. I visited Sedona in my pre nature photographer days. It’s always been on my short list of places I wanted to go back to.

  4. Beautiful composition and light, Laurent. Have you considered printing it a little darker?

    • Hey, Michael. Thanks for the comment! I was just thinking the same thing a couple days ago. Seemed to me I left the buttes a little too light.

  5. As Michael suggested, a little bit darker and you’ve got a nice print.
